GoofPark is an independent browser-game site. This page explains what the current games store and what becomes public. Last updated: 8 October 2026.
Games use local storage for features such as saved drawings, the horse stable, names, best scores, game progress, sound settings and camera preferences. This data stays in that browser unless a game sends the relevant name, drawing or play data to our server for multiplayer or leaderboards. Local saves are not an account and do not automatically sync between devices.
You can remove local saves through your browser’s settings for goofpark.com. Doing so may reset progress, preferences and your connection to past leaderboard entries.
Online game features use a cookie named gp_player to recognise the same browser, manage live race seats and associate leaderboard entries. It has a one-year maximum lifetime, is HttpOnly and SameSite=Strict, and uses Secure on HTTPS. It is a game identifier, not a sign-in account or an advertising cookie.
When you use online game features, we process a browser identifier, the name you choose, game times and results. Draw Derby also sends your horse drawing and race inputs. Saltwind and Super Pelican send play inputs so the server can check the resulting score.
Leaderboard names, scores and race times are public. Draw Derby horse drawings are shared with participants in a live race and can appear on its public leaderboard. Use a nickname and do not include personal information in a name or drawing.
Completed results and their associated game data, including submitted horse drawings or replay inputs, are retained for the all-time leaderboards and score verification; there is currently no automatic expiry for those records. A daily cleanup removes unfinished database sessions that are more than one hour old and clears rate-limit IP hashes from database records more than one day old. The cleanup runs on a schedule, so removal does not happen at the exact one-hour or one-day mark. Live race state is kept temporarily to support matching and reconnecting.
Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site and its game services. Network requests involve technical information such as an IP address and browser details. Our game services use a hash of the IP address and current day to limit repeated requests. Hosting and error logs can also contain request details needed to operate and troubleshoot the service.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits and site performance. Its analytics beacon does not use cookies. For Cloudflare’s handling of information, see its privacy policy and Web Analytics information.
We also collect basic gameplay counts through our own site, grouped by UTC date, game, event and level. These counters help us see which games people open and play. This analytics table does not store a player identifier, IP address or referring page, and the counters are retained for 90 days. Our gameplay counter is disabled when your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track. That setting does not disable the separate Cloudflare Web Analytics beacon.
Third-party ads are not currently displayed. We are preparing advertising to help support the free games. If Google ads are enabled, Google and its partners may use cookies or other device storage and process information to serve and measure ads. We will update this page and provide the required privacy choices before enabling that advertising.
You can read about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and visit Google My Ad Center to manage Google ad preferences. These links describe Google’s services; they do not mean that ads are currently active on GoofPark.
You can stop playing, clear the site’s browser storage, or ask about access, correction or deletion of server-held game data. Clearing browser storage alone does not erase server records. Contact us through the route on our contact page; request a private conversation before sharing sensitive details. We may need to verify the record and your connection to it.
The games do not ask for an email address, birth date or payment details. Please avoid putting these in public names or drawings. If you believe a child has shared personal information through a game, contact us so we can review it.
We will revise this page when data handling changes and show the updated date here. Questions about this policy can be directed to @kimoji73 on X.
